I am a life long Star Trek fan. Personally, I liked the J.J. Abrams Trek movies, but for entirely different reasons than I liked the originals. I think most Star Trek fans that do not like the new reboots take issue with the way they changed the entire story line. Everything we have spent a lifetime loving, is now completely different. I like that.
